With a bold vision to unify a vast library of animated properties under one roof and provide an exciting and rich experience to kids, Warner Bros. selected Tierra to develop much of the core technology that powers the new KidsWB.com and its related franchise web sites.

Offering an unparalleled array of video, games, virtual worlds, and site personalization, KidsWB! is a platform that integrates multiple WB initiatives. The first two sites to re-launch include KidsWB.com as well DCHerozone.com. Utilizing a Tierra-developed content management system built to support multiple KidsWB web initiatives, WB is able to easily create, schedule, and publish video, games, downloads, and other exclusive content. Tierra upgraded and developed a high-score engine for a library of over 100 Flash game titles to support gameplay on the site. Video technology and ad-serving technology from partner companies was also integrated to provide hours of animated video titles from WB's library. Other innovative features of the site developed by Tierra include a kid-friendly visual search application to enable discovery of the array of WB animated characters. In addition to the initial two websites, the KidsWB platform will support future rollouts of further WB properties and virtual worlds.

Tierra was the lead developer and integrator for the project. Tackling this complex and multi-component project, our team provided strategy, software and flash development services to WB and worked to coordinate integration with multiple site partners. Tierra continues to support the KidsWB platform on an ongoing basis.
