Launch Site

Each fall Headlands Center for the Arts hosts the Mystery Ball, a fundraiser known throughout the Bay Area for its awesome entertainment and over-the-top costumes. For their 2008 Mystery Ball, Headlands Center for the Arts tapped Tierra to create a visual theme around the concept of "Secrets" and to come up with a robust website to promote their event. Fusing pop colors with grainy paranormal imagery, Tierra designed a quirky, tongue-in-cheek print invitation and event website. In addition to event details and ticket sales, the website features a Mystery Ball blog and fun opportunities for site visitors to anonymously share secrets.
