Jamie Trowbridge
Founder & President / Client Services
Jamie oversees strategy, sales, and development. He leads Tierra’s project development and client services. Prior to Tierra, Jamie was co-founder and COO of Moeo, Inc, a pioneering wireless software firm. Jamie spent 7 years as an equity analyst in Latin America for Credit Lyonnais Securities and Indosuez Capital. He holds a BA in English from Georgetown, an MBA from Yale University School of Management and he studied computer science at Harvard University. Jamie founded Tierra in 2002.

Scott Fenton
Software & Web Development
Scott leads Tierra's software engineering. He has 10+ years of experience creating mobile and web-based products and services, including database-driven applications built on LAMP and OSS for SMS, J2ME, and BREW mobile platforms. Scott led Tierra's drive into integrated content management systems (CMS) and he developed mobile applications with Jamie at Moeo, Inc. Scott helped build Oxygen Media's converged web platform and designed and implemented email client software and gateways for Apple, Microsoft and the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Scott holds a BSEE from UVM.

Sam Charron
Office Management
Sam keeps the company operating smoothly across multiple administrative areas including human resources, accounting, employee benefits and project management. Sam has a wide range of work experiences from reality casting to the comic book industry to major government agencies. Sam has a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts and Business Administration from St. John’s University.

Doug Martin
Software & Web Development
Doug is a member of Tierra’s software engineering team with a wide range of experience, from low-level embedded system work to high-level web architecture design. Doug worked at GE, Morningstar, Encyclopedia Britannica, and Electro-dynamics. He holds a bachelor’s degree with University Honors in computer science and a master’s degree in manufacturing systems from Southern Illinois University.

Kristina Bell
Design
Kristina focuses on brand strategy and identity, user interface design, user experience, and visual design. Before joining Tierra, she was a design educator at San Jose State University, the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and the University of Hawaii. Kristina has 7 years of professional experience with web and mobile projects for Fortune 100 and entertainment clients. She holds a master’s degree in graphic design from North Carolina State University and a BFA in photography and digital media from Art Center College of Design.

Todd Stowell
Software & Web Development
Todd codes and develops most of Tierra web sites and focuses on XHTML & CSS standards compliancy and the Section 508 users with disabilities act. Prior to Tierra, Todd was a web developer and founding partner at Loud Canvas Media in Burlington, Vermont. Todd’s background includes development work for Webby award winner Cochlear, Toys R Us, NASCAR, The Wellness Community, Coldwell Banker, Century 21 and GlaxoSmithKline. Todd holds a BS-CIS from Champlain College, Burlington, VT.

Jennifer Over
Design
Jennifer brings her skills and passion for design to each stage of the process, from project conception and look & feel development, to user testing and final production. Her background includes interface design for online communities, magazine design and brand development. Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in graphic design from North Carolina State University and a BA in economic theory from American University.

Mike Fahy
Software & Web Development
Mike designs and develops rich internet applications and Flash-based user experiences for Tierra. Before joining Tierra, Mike produced award-winning e-learning and training applications as Lead Flash Developer for IBM’s Design & Information Development on Demand division. He has also created online CMS solutions for daily newspapers and health information publishers. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Journalism.

Tim Michals
Client Services
Tim identifies, develops and executes new business opportunities, including project proposals, budgeting, resource planning, and project management. Previously Tim worked for Tandberg TV, part of the Ericsson Group. Tim holds a B.A. in Communications for The Annenberg School for Communications at UPenn.

Gerard Gualberto
Software & Web Development
Gerard Gualberto, a member of the software and engineering team, has been developing a wide range of web applications for over seven years. After beginning his career at the award-winning firm Titanium, Gerard worked for a variety of advertising agencies and served as the lead engineer for MyPunchbowl.com before joining Tierra. He holds bachelor's degrees in both Political Science and Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts.

Julie Walker
Client Services
Julie manages relationships and project development with Tierra clientele. Working in both the corporate sector and academia, Julie has 13 years of experience in business strategy and product management for software and Internet applications. Julie has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BS in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
